I am genuinely delighted to announce that I had the honour of contributing a chapter entitled “New Product Development Enriched with AI” to the prestigious academic book AI in Marketing, published by the global publishing house Routledge. This outstanding publication, launched in New York, brings together a distinguished group of experts, including professors from leading US universities.
My chapter – nearly 30 pages of in-depth analysis – explores innovation in the age of Artificial Intelligence, from new process stages to potential risks and the key future skills that will shape tomorrow’s market leaders.

Future Skills for the AI Era
AI demands new capabilities. In my chapter, I outline the skills that will be critical for creating meaningful innovations. Yes, working with AI is essential, but this doesn’t necessarily require an engineering degree. What matters most is understanding AI well enough to communicate effectively with technical teams.
Prompt Design, when combined with low- and no-code tools, gives innovators access to resources that rival those of advanced R&D departments. Beyond the technical aspects, three human qualities will define the quality and return on investment (ROI) of innovation: curiosity, adaptability, and imagination.
